How is oral health education conducted in Finnish health centers?

The oral health education (OHE) given in Finnish health centers is mostly implemented by dental assistants and hygienists. However, there is no exact information concerning the distribution of OHE work and the working methods among individual health educators. The aims of this study were to assess 1) the time used for OHE by the dental professionals who bear most of the responsibility for OHE in health centers, and to evaluate 2) the collaboration between OH-educators and the parents of schoolchildren, school personnel and the other health care personnel and 3) the sources of the OHE knowledge and skills of these OH-educators and their methods according to their work load. Implantación de recursos didácticos digitales en asignaturas de Organización de Empresas

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar el protocolo de implantación de diversas herramientas didácticas, así como el nivel de satisfacción de los estudiantes que las utilizan. Los resultados muestran, primero, que no es posible crear un único protocolo aplicable a todos los recursos, debido a las diferencias en los objetivos didácticos existentes. Segundo, la valoración que los estudiantes hacen de la utilización de los recursos es muy positiva, aunque existen algunas diferencias entre las distintas herramientas. Estos resultados permiten mejorar los recursos y adecuarlos al perfil de los estudiantes para que éstos puedan sacar el mayor provecho posible.
A study on the didactic, content and narrative characteristics of the audiovisual products available on YouTube Kids

This article analyzes the characteristics of a selection of audiovisual products aimed at children from 0 to 4 years old, hosted on the YouTube Kids platform. On the one hand, the platform itself is analyzed; its structure, design, usability and interactivity. On the other hand, the most popular resources in each of the categories established on the platform itself are analyzed, namely: programs, music, learning and exploring. This paper reports on the findings of the English Pronunciation Teaching in Europe Survey (EPTiES), concentrating on responses from EFL teachers working in Finland (n=103). The survey was designed to gain research-based information about the state of English pronunciation teaching in European teaching contexts, and it included questions related to teacher training, teaching materials and methods, assessment of pronunciation, status of pronunciation teaching, and pronunciation model, among other things. Este estudo trata dos manuais do professor de Educação Física elaborados no Brasil e aprovados no Programa Nacional do Livro e do Material Didático (BRASIL, 2017). Especificamente, analisa as imagens de pessoas neles existentes, com vistas a verificar se existem estereótipos relacionados às práticas corporais. [EN] The Valencian Network of Educational Innovation in Optics consists of three groups from the Universitat de València, Universitat Jaume I, and Universitat Politècnica de València. The participants in the network present an extensive background on performing actions to improve teaching practice. They have been involved for years in scientific outreach activities and in a number of educational innovation projects, which have developed innovative teaching materials. With the aim of sharing their experience and enhance their performance, the three groups have decided to join forces to become a Network of Educational Innovation whose main projects are described in this communication.
